More coming up soon, interested viewers drop me a line and I'll get back to you.

Table cloth with a old pattern..

Earlier people used to carry their own shopping bags mostly made of cloth or jute. These patterns used to be stitched on bags as well as bath towels etc. These patterns are extremely attractive and remind us of old times. I have used this pattern on a table cloth using colored threads.

multicolour shawl

The inspiration and colour combination for this shawl came from a pattern book I possess.
Overall, this shawl's numerous colours gives a very dramatic effect,
in fact it is mesmerising. Isn't it?
The shawl was done in simple crochet. The result was really satisfying.

Patch Work Baby Blanket

This baby blanket is made in anticipation of my future great grandchildren ...... How about that? On a peach coloured soft cotton cloth, I first traced the various patterns. Then patched the patterns namely, bubbles, tub, bubble maker and the soap with different coloured cloth pieces. I outlined the whole thing with stem stitch, the eyes and lips are done with long and short stitches.

Swan Doily....

The swan doily is made from white crochet thread. The swans are made first and later joined together around the round crochet doily. Red coloured thread is used to make the beak. The doily is good as a centre piece on a round table.

Floor Mat..... a conceptual idea in crochet

This floor mat is entirely a conceptual idea of mine. The coloured left over threads of my various other works were used here as the centre piece, bordered by peach coloured thread for a dramatic effect. I added the support tassels to give it a carpet look.

Crochet purse and mobile pouch bag...

This purse and pouch is made from fine rust and gold threads. Gold beads are then added to give the purse an ethnic look. The two way handle makes the purse special. You can just hold the handle in your hand or pull the strings and make it into a butwa (indian styled purse).
The small pouch is a mobile holder, which can be kept in the purse or hung on the shoulders.
